Not bad system they have.

Rents have risen tremendously, but you don't get anything for your money. I called the CEO and told him this. His answer was "well, you get a subsidy"!!! He has nothing to do with that and you can't raise rents unreasonably just because many people may be receiving housing subsidies or other support. I'm thinking of the song "Staten och kapitalet". It's cold in the apartments and the worst of all the outer walls. When the houses have been around for a few years, the insulation collapses but no one cares. The ventilation works really badly. Especially in the winter when it's barely running. It's probably to save heat but it feels unhealthy. So there's a lot to complain about.

When I rented an apartment from Härnösandshus and called one of their managers when I needed a new apartment due to a personal matter, their manager said "It's better if you move from our apartments somewhere else" the problem had nothing to do with anyone else, I paid the bills on time, I party/didn't party, I listened/didn't listen to music, I didn't disturb or bother the neighbors. I was the best tenant! He tried to persuade me to move. Absolutely crazy! Unfortunately a lot of racism in Härnösand, now it's not just this company but almost all companies in town. There is no excuse for how I was treated.

Härnösand House is a company owned by the municipality of Härnösand. They have many clean apartments in various locations within the municipality, and their apartment and shop maintenance services are good and fast. Their only problem is the long waiting period, sometimes a year or more, before a person can get an apartment. Also, the value of the rents for their apartments increases slightly every year. Otherwise, it is considered one of the best real estate companies in the city of Härnösand.

It used to be much better than now..we now live in a refrigerator. The rents are high with no services in return.
