Incredibly rude and snobby, unprofessional people. I’d rather barter with seashells than have these people touch my money. Wasted 3 months of my life applying for a business bank account for them to deny the application. They waited til the very end because I guess they didn’t like that I didn’t answer a couple phone calls from them and treated me horribly ever since and then a swift decline. Went to SEB and they said it’s 0 problem, and what they did was highly unusual. Have a business ID an office, a website all ready to go except for the bank to take payments. (Computer and auto industry)

I was treated very strangely when I arrived at Handelsbanken. I can't imagine that the staff had taken any courses in customer relations and service. I talked to them a bit, but quickly decided not to switch to Handelsbanken.

I was thinking of switching banks to the island. I called and asked a few questions and was treated so strangely. So I thought I'd check to see if there were any reviews. I'm so glad I checked here and got confirmation that something is very wrong. I'm not switching to Ekerö. Thanks to all of you who left a review and helped the rest of us avoid making a mistake.

Few things can provoke me as much as Handelsbanken Ekerö. Forget discussing mortgages over the phone. You absolutely have to book an appointment for a physical meeting as you cannot identify yourself over the phone. Bank ID is just forget it. Opening hours are weekdays 10.00-16.00 so it is basically impossible to get an appointment without taking time off from work. If you manage to get there, you are met by an extremely slow-moving business with no sense of service.

Have been a customer for many years; and once upon a time (before 2017) it was truly the best bank office in the world. Today those who work at the Ekerö office have no desire (or motivation?) to help local residents or individuals invest, grow or use their services. Everything is "too much". Customer contact is very poor - it is clear that YOU are not important to them. Not via email, app, phone, and hardly much better on site. Poor staff that they have to talk to customers who want to use their services.
